What happens if I have funds left over in my wallet?

Any unused balance remains safely in your KasiKonnect wallet. You can hold it there to back upcoming campaign cohorts, top it up at any time, or allocate it whenever another kasipreneur launches a project.

Is this an investment, a donation, or charity?

Our philosophy is Trade, Not Aid. This is not an equity investment (you are not buying shares), nor is it blind charity. It is rewards- and impact-based crowdfunding. How do I know the entrepreneurs won't misuse the money?

Every kasipreneur on FundUbuntu has been rigorously vetted and onboarded through our high-touch enterprise program backed by KasiKonnect and SimplyBiz powered by Nedbank. Funds are released against clear operational milestones (such as paying equipment suppliers or testing laboratories directly), and each founder is required to post regular progress reports directly to their public KasiKonnect profile.

Can businesses or international supporters back campaigns?

Yes. Paystack accepts international credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard). If you are an enterprise, corporate ESD department, or CSI program looking to contribute larger institutional allocations, your funds directly support our LM3 (Local Multiplier 3) model to circulate wealth and build verified township supply chains.
