RECYCLING CIRCLE

Every product that we recycle goes through the same recycling. Without the team of men and women that we work with the above process would difficult to achieve.

PRODUCTS (RECYCLABLE)

Plastic - Paper - Glass - Iron/copper - Tyres

COLLECTING POINTS

We have our own collecting points where recyclers (Trolleys) bring the materials for sorting, bailing and reselling

THE IMPORTANCE OF RECYCLING

Recycling prevents valuable raw materials from going to landfill and ensure that it goes back to the manufacturing cycle for processing into new re-usable products whilst saving the environment.

Note: BGB Things identified recycling as a business opportunity, we saw it as a good cause to participate in to help many other communities, companies and individuals working tirelessly to save our planet. And at least save one child from poverty, sickness and diseases.

GROWING PARTICIPATION IN RECYCLING

Technology has enhanced and improved Commercial, Businesses and Residential recycling services by giving us the opportunity to recognise that there is a need to conserve the environment. Through recycling programs and complaining, lobbing many companies have begun to contribute significant value in the Circular economy: companies are now make sure that their refuse is properly managed, sorted by category and collected by either the waste management companies or trolleys. In the last five years we have all seen a big schools participation in recycling their refuse mainly: Paper and tins. Schools use recycling as means of raising funds for some of the activities which are not government funded.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

In the last 10 years 1.3 million tonnes of paper was recycled and that alone has created so many informal jobs and businesses. And it is said that recycling 1 tone of paper saves 26, 498 litres of water. Imagine how much water was saved by recycling 1.3 million tonnes of paper? Note: Recycling is an extremely important sector in South Africa and in the world. It plays a vital role is helping us save the environment and our lives.
