Purpose of Program
The Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) in its endeavour to implement the GPG Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy has collaborated with the University of Johannesburg and Tshwane North TVET College, Ekurhuleni TVET College, Sedibeng TVET College, South West Gauteng TVET College and Western College to support the ICT based SMMEs to enhance competency compliance and efficiency. This partnership will deliver Small Business Enrichment Programme to qualifying small businesses in 22 days spread over 3 months.
Who can Apply?
• Citizens or Permanent residents of South Africa.
• Gauteng based Township SMMEs working in ICT space
• A formally registered ICT business
• SMMEs must be willing to sign a contract of participation Aim of the Program:
• Provide digital transformation support
• Close development gaps that hinder their growth and opportunities to access the market
• Achieve industry and business compliance required to access various supply chains of corporations
• Support SMMEs with IT and digital services
• Diversify market access opportunities for ICT based SMMEs

SMMES offering Internet services, software development, telecommunication products (telephones), website development, security systems installations, and office equipment maintenance (copiers & fax) are encouraged to apply.
