How to clean your fridge
- Take out all removable parts, such as shelves and drawers. Fill a basin with warm water and regular dishwashing soap and leave these parts to soak before wiping and rinsing.
- Wipe all surface areas either with commercial wipes or with a combination of dishwashing soap and warm water. Use a microfibre cloth or a good quality sponge – these cleaning tools will not fall apart and leave little particles behind in the fridge.
- For stubborn stains, mix a small amount of baking soda with a little water to produce a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stain and leave for an hour before wiping with a damp sponge or cloth. The baking soda should loosen the stain, making it easy to wipe away.
Tips to get your wardrobe organised
We know that cleaning your wardrobe is a major project to take on. It can even be unexpectedly emotional; you might have items you know you don’t need or want but feel you should keep because of their history. So, start by taking everything out, it sounds like a drag but it will definitely help in making you see what you still wear and what you no longer wear. You can donate anything you don’t wear, your wardrobe will be less clustered and someone will have the opportunity to wear those items.
1. Box up clothes that are not in season
For your wardrobe to look neat, it’s advisable to put your clothes that are not in season in a box or pack them somewhere. This will give you enough space to see what you wear, what’s important and what you need.
2. Organise by colour
There are several benefits to organising your wardrobe by colour. First, it helps you see where you have duplicates. You might not realise you have six black shirts until they all hang next to each other. It also makes it easier to see what you want and know where it is instead of trying to find a shirt you might be looking for.
