Kaesho Kathorus Epilepsy Self Help Organisation Home
My name is Nomvula Letsatsi, founder of this organisation. In our organisation we teach arts and crafts to youth suffering from epilepsy and other physical disabilities.
The short name for the organisation is Kaesho, which focuses on empowering the youth and assisting in eradicating poverty as well as job creation.
We are currently operating in Katlehong Art Centre. The organisation works with schools for the disabled and when the children reach the age of 21, they are transferred to Kaesho where different skills are taught such as carpentry, jewelry design, and beadwork. Our focus is to empower them with skills to make a living for themselves and their families.
The organisation kindly requests you to give it the opportunity to train students during the day and asks for stipends in order to offer the students lunch during school hours.
