Turning a traditional South Africa drink into a SUPERFOOD
The CEO and founder of the company, Ms. Motsidisi “Tshidi” Tau, first started her entrepreneurial journey in the year 2010. At the time, she manufactured condiments and vegetable sauces all of which are SABS tested. The business is 100% South African Black African woman owned. During the year 2011, she discovered the Baobab fruit after an acquaintance of hers from Zimbabwe had offered her a few seeds from the fruit to taste. The powder coated seeds had a sweet and tangy taste and immediately reminded her of the traditional sweet and sour soft porridge which her aunt used to prepare for the family for breakfast.
