Staffing & Management Structure
Formation: Formed by committee members per Department of Social Development requirements, governed by a Constitution. Committee: The committee consists of parents of attending children, with a management structure including a Chairperson, Deputy, General Secretary, Assistance, Treasurers, and an Additional Member. Principal/Co-coordinator: Responsible for management, administration, liaising with stakeholders, and preparing financial/activity reports. Group 1 Teachers: Take care of children aged 1 to 2 years, foster proper care, test abilities, and liaise with parents. Group 5 Teachers: Take care of children aged 2 to 6 years, foster care, and test abilities in pre-educare training. House Keepers: Responsible for daily meal preparation and maintaining hygiene standards. Employment: The center provides full-time employment to 4 community members and ensures fully qualified teachers undergo regular ECD training. |
