Hi, I’m Mfanafuthi Mkhwanazi, the founder of Kemetic Organic Cosmetics.

We live in an era where we are finally questioning what we put on our bodies. I started Kemetic Organic Cosmetics because I believe the answers to our modern skincare and haircare needs shouldn't come from harsh chemicals—they are already found in our own soil. My brand is built on African botanical wisdom, creating plant-based solutions that honour our heritage and our health.

The Vision: From Soweto to the National Shelf

Based in the heart of Soweto, Kemetic Organic Cosmetics has proven its concept. People love our products because they work and because they align with a conscious, plant-based lifestyle. However, to move from a local favourite to a retail-ready brand, we hit a "glass ceiling" called production capacity.

Right now, we are hand-crafting at a scale that cannot keep up with the demand of retail stores. To grow, we need to transition from small-batch making to professional-scale manufacturing.
