Meet the founder
Born and bred in the beautiful town of Butterworth in the Eastern Cape, the third and last-born child to Gandi and Toneka Guqaza. My name is Yonela Guqaza the founder of Nhella's Chillies. I was only 12 years old when my older sister began my home grooming, igniting a spark for cooking within me. Over the years, as I tried new foods and grew to love spicy and hot food in particular, this spark began to grow into a passion. It is that love and passion that has birthed Nhella's Chillies - my special homemade chilli achar. Nhella's Chillies is my baby that I tenderly manage from start to finish, from chopping chillies to seasoning and cooking to packaging and delivering to my customers. |
