GMM Buy Back Centre Primary Co-operative Limited (GMM BBC) is a waste recycling business owned by six passionate and commitment social entrepreneurs Makhosazane, Elizabeth, Malefu Goodness, Donald and Mapule. Mapule Achieved diploma office administration, diploma information and technology certificate Customer Care, Certificate Fire Fighter, Certificate First Aid Skills Development and Green Economy Entrepreneurs Training.
In October 2015 the Business commenced its operation by collecting boxes, plastics bags, cans, bottles and glass bottles from local shopping centers, supermarkets, independent wholesale and retail outlets throughout Govan Mbeki Local Municipality in Mpumalanga Province.
Since its inception with its operation the business has been able to stock pile+/- 3000 tons of waste materials on its premises in Embalenhle. The business currently employs its members and plans to create five (5) permanent posts upon receiving the required investment.
The business has been able to establish relationship with retail centers, outlets, supermarkets and convenience stores in the area and plans to dominate the entire area.
