Host companies: These companies will provide 12-month workplace experience opportunities for In-Service students from an engineering and business management background.

In-Service students (10) : These students are pursuing engineering or business management qualifications and require 12-month placements to complete their diplomas. The stipend for these positions is R5,000 per month.

Additionally, we have an opening for:

One disabled graduate: This graduate should possess a Business Management or Administration qualification and will be placed in an Administrator role in Kempton Park. The stipend for this position is R6,000 per month for a duration of 24 months.

1. 3 months chemical manufacturing skill program in cleaning detergent 20 youth invited with interest to be part of the Seta accredited program.

2. Learnership for company employees, SMME owners and Coop members who are already operating in chemical manufacturing. 

Duration:

Leanership 12 months

Transport allowance will be given to attend training

LGSETA is presenting a Six-Month Skills Programme opportunity for our SMMEs to China. This opportunity targets 10 SMMEs within the following sectors:

Programe Description:

Fully Funded By LG SETA and CCIEEC

Program: Small Business Owners Skills Program in China

Duration: Six Months

Allowance: R3500

Location: China

Targeted Sectors:

Construction.

Tourism/Hospitality.

Information Technology (4IR).

For you to be a qualifying candidate you should be compliant with the following requirements, there is no exception if you don’t have one of those documents, you do not qualify.

REQUIREMENTS 

Youth (age between 18 to 35 years);

• Business must be 100% owned by South African citizens;

• Have a registered and trading business for a minimum of 3 years. The following supporting

documents are required:

o 3 years financial statements.

o A valid one-time pin (OPT) / tax pin issued by the South Revenue Services (SARS).

o UIF, COIDA, and other applicable industry regulations registrations.

o The business owner or the company representative must be willing to be away

from business for a period of 6 months.

• Minimum annual turnover of R500 000;

• Business owner(s) or directors must possess technical experience relevant to the

business, with hands-on experience in the running and management of the business;

• CV of the applicant;

• A business plan or a comprehensive company profile;

• A valid passport (valid not earlier than 28 February 2025);

• Proof of residency in Johannesburg (Statement of Water and Lights, Rates and Taxes) or

an affidavit confirming the place of residence;

• Must be proficiency in English and be able to maintain the highest ethical and professional

standards as they will be representing the COJ/RSA; and

• Must be willing to undergo a medical check-up and police clearance

SANRAL is conducting an Electrical Maintenance Contract Training, which will be conducted across the 7 Regions of the City.

Only 18 candidates will be trained per Region, and selection will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested individuals should adhere to the following:

Submit the CIPC Certificates.

Specify which of the three training sessions you would like to attend. Below
